For the last 7 years, Lab4U and Colegio Alberto Blest Gana have worked together to transform the teaching and learning of science. In 2024, the program involved six teachers and over 800 students from 7th grade to 12th grade. The school’s principal, Ricardo Roman, and Komal Dadlani, Lab4U’s CEO and co-founder, share the belief that this innovative way of teaching and learning science makes a real difference. Both have co-written columns advocating for the use of technology in classrooms, which has contributed to a more dynamic and accessible education for all Colegio Alberto Blest Gana students.
Throughout the year, teachers conducted 64 experiments with their students, a significant increase from 40 the previous year, demonstrating how technology can enrich STEM learning. The results were encouraging, showing a positive correlation between the use of Lab4U and the development of scientific thinking skills, as well as a growing interest in STEM careers among students.
But beyond the numbers, these results reflect stories of students who, inspired by their experiences, are discovering their potential and confidently envisioning a future in science, thereby improving their professional development expectations.
The collaboration between Lab4U and Colegio Alberto Blest Gana remains an example of innovation and equity in education. These years of joint work prove that, with commitment and the right tools, it is possible to transform students’ futures, opening doors to new opportunities and ensuring that each one can reach their full potential.
Here’s to an even greater 2025!
